This little coffee shop has a big coffee vibes, great coffee taste, and good atmosphere. They have plenty of seating and a food menu along with a drink menu that can satisfy hungry or hangry morning coffee aficionados. I ordered a simple oat milk late, hot, in a mug to enjoy at their couch seating by the window. The late was very good, smooth, with decorative artwork in the foam. If you want a little coffee shop experience with great coffee, then this is your place.

Being a coffee lover I’ve been to dozens of coffee shops this one takes the prize. Family run such warm people! The decor is amazing but the coffee is beyond delicious! Especially the cappuccino. My daughter loves the food. I hope they remain in business for years!

This is our favorite local coffee shop in the Matawan, Aberdeen and old bridge area! The matcha lattes are amazing, the guava croissant is exceptional and their other food and beverage items look delicious!!

Been here a few times now for coffee and Wi-Fi. They have daily newspapers, magazines, coffee table books, variety of seating options from bar chairs to couches. Staff is so friendly and coffee tastes great. Family friendly environment. We came as a family today and had some small bites on a Sunday morning. Salmon toast special was so good! I included pictures from multiple visits. It's nice to finally have a comfortable little place like this in town.

This place is just amazing. Provides the NYC vibe and feeling. Thoughtful and kind owners and employees that are dedicated to what they do. It can get busy but there are seats and it’s well worth the wait. One of the best coffee houses within several miles for coffee, atmosphere and consistently delicious menu.

Their iced shaken cortado is my favorite coffee drink. A nice balance of espresso and milk without being too creamy. Their sandwhiches and guava pastry are delicious. The atmosphere is really chill and friendly people all around. Love this place

We had a wonderful experience at Candelaria! When we walked in, the place was already lively, and shortly after, two large groups came in, making it very busy. Despite the sudden rush, the staff handled everything with grace, working hard and staying composed. Their positive attitude and attentiveness really stood out and made the experience even better. The food was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was absolutely spot on — rich, smooth, and perfectly made. You can tell they really care about the quality of what they serve. What we loved most was the cozy atmosphere. The seating was comfortable and inviting, and the decor was beautiful — warm, thoughtful, and perfect for a relaxed coffee outing or catching up with friends. We’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for a spot that hits the perfect balance of incredible flavor, clean ingredients, and great vibes, Candelaria Espresso Bar in Matawan is the absolute truth. I stopped in and grabbed a specialty iced coffee with that perfect sweet cream foam and a turkey sandwich on fresh artisanal bread. Let me tell you—the quality is top-tier. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and high-quality, and the coffee is crafted exactly right. You can tell they actually care about what they're putting out. The inside has a great look to it, comfortable seating, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to hang out. As someone who tracks down the best food spots for my channel, Brooklyn vs the World, I can honestly say this place is a hidden gem. Great staff, great food, and a killer vibe. I’ll definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

I decided to wake up this morning and take a 45-minute drive to this café that I came across on Instagram last week. I must say, it was absolutely worth the trip. I was very pleased with the place. The vibes and overall atmosphere were very pleasant, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They offer a great variety of sandwiches and toasts. We tried the egg and avocado toast as well as the brie, apple, and prosciutto sandwich,both were amazing and beautifully presented. I also ordered a cappuccino, and it was made exactly the way I like it.On the way out, I grabbed a café con leche for the road. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be returning in the near future.
